Andrew Geddes further commented “This combination will enhance and strengthen Spectrum’s position in the UK market place as the leader in the distribution and supply of ophthalmic surgical and diagnostic products throughout the UK and will strengthen our business operations in Europe.  It will further support relationships with our suppliers which will enable Spectrum and our European partners to increase market shares in all product areas.  Additionally it is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and improve customer relationships throughout our European affiliates.  We do not anticipate any changes for customers, suppliers and employees”.
